The 6th Bomb Group was fortunate to have war photographer Bill Webster within its veteran membership. His black & white collection was taken during combat in 1945 with a professional camera and preserved in great condition over the past 75 years. 6th Bomb Group veteran Percy Tucker’s photos were taken using color slide film, a rarity for that era. Army Signal Corps Irving Winkler’s” photos were also taken using color slide film.

The Association welcomes use of all photos for standard classroom instruction & educational purposes: however, all of the material on this site is copyrighted, and we must insist that appropriate credit be given when used.
